Matthew is the owner of Nomi Design. A registered architect in Indiana, Kentucky, Nevada and New York, Matthew maintains a comprehensive body of work including a variety of project types and sizes.
Informed by his experience working with Herbert Beckhard, a former partner of the Bauhaus master, Marcel Breuer, Matthew subscribes to the philosophy that architecture gains strength through diversity of work. He maintains that variation in project type, scale, scope and budget foster collaboration and innovation thereby generating specific and thoughtful responses to each design problem.
Matthew believes that architecture is a holistic practice that should be environmentally, socially and financially sustainable. He challenges himself and the firm to fully grasp ‘the big picture’ of each project and to use this understanding to develop relevant architecture that is an extension of the client’s vision
