Bosworth Hall, a building rich with history as the former library of a Seminary College, has transformed into the new home for the University of Kentucky’s Human Resources Department. The renovation included the construction of new office spaces, a state-of-the-art training room, and accessible restrooms, ensuring a functional and inclusive environment for employees and visitors. Additionally, the project involved replacing the existing elevator with a new, fully accessible cab to meet modern accessibility standards.

Our design approach carefully balanced the preservation of Bosworth Hall’s historic character with the demands of contemporary office functionality. A modern insertion into the building’s historic fabric, the design incorporates timeless details while enhancing usability and comfort. Thoughtfully introducing soothing, branded paint schemes, the design reflects the University’s identity while bridging the building’s storied past with the requirements of the 21st century.
